Gli interventi per le Comunità intelligenti e Smart Cities rappresentano una priorità strategica per l'intera politica del Paese in tema di ricerca e innovazione. Il PON Ricerca e Competitività
2007-2013, in linea con l'azione del MIUR nella proclamazione dei bandi 2012, sarà presente nella sezione espositiva e congressuale della mostra Smart City Exhibition 2012 con gli obiettivi di promuovere le opportunità ed i risultati raggiunti dai bandi Smart City e Social Innovation, e di fare rete tra i diversi soggetti che partecipano alla programmazione.

Actions for Smart Communities and Smart Cities represent a strategic priority for the country's policy with regard to research and innovation. PON Research and Competitiveness 2007-2013, according to MIUR's 2012 tender calls, will be present in both expositive and congressual area of SmartCity Exhibition 2012, aiming to promote the opportunities and achievements reached by Smart City and Social Innovation tenders, and enhancing network between the different stakeholders involved.
