Country Manager for Italy, facilitates the interface between HIMSS Analytics Europe and professional figures involved (directly or indirectly) in the Italian public and private healthcare systems.

He develops relationships with all stakeholders in health-IT including individual hospitals, regional health authorities, academic institutes, as well as the vendor community.

HIMSS Analytics Europe (HAE) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). The company collects and analyzes healthcare information related to IT processes and environments, products, IS department composition and costs, IS department management metrics, healthcare trends and purchase-related decisions.

HAE delivers high quality products, services, and analytical expertise to healthcare delivery organizations, healthcare IT companies, state and federal governments, financial companies, pharmaceutical companies and consulting firms.

Durante questo workshop, saranno presentati i dati sugli investimenti IT nella sanità italiana e i dati saranno comparati con i corrispondenti investimenti europei. Case history italiane e internazionali racconteranno i risultati ottenuti attraverso l'uso crescente di IT nelle strutture sanitarie.

The use of IT systems in Healthcare is a very current theme. In Europe, investments in this area are continuously growing and are aimed in obtaining more efficient and effective services, rationalizing healthcare costs. During this Workshop, the Italian IT investments made in the health sector, compared with the corresponding European investments, will be analyzed. Italian and International case histories about the results obtained through the increasing use of IT in the healthcare sector will be presented.
