Steve Hall

Steve became the Chief Executive Officer of Crown Hosting Data Centres on its formation in Mar 2015.  He established and has led the company and Joint Venture ever since, delivering what is considered as the ‘most successful Joint Venture ever’ with UK Government.

 

 

He joined Ark as Executive Sales & Marketing Director in October 2012, tasked with formulating a plan for growth, building a team and executing the strategy to meet the objectives of the Business Plan established by the Ark Board following the company's recapitalisation in July 2012.

 

 

An engineer by profession, Steve has had a highly successful career in both selling and service delivery. Prior to working with Ark, he was the UK Public Sector Sales Director at HP. During his time at HP, Steve held a number of roles and was responsible for UK Public Sector sales, UK Defence sales, and Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa businesses, covering all sectors of Enterprise Service business. He led the transformation of the GTM operation in this undeveloped area of business and delivered a sound growth strategy for the next threeyears.

 

 

Previous to HP, Steve held a number of senior-level positions at EDS and Logica, successfully leading the companies’ strategic bids, re-pitching of existing contracts, new business and incremental growth. At EDS, he established and led the Service Management organisation, including two major service centres and a support regime to deliver IT services to the MoD as part of Europe’s largest ever IT contract (circa 300,000 users in over 450 locations worldwide).

 

Steve joined the technology industry having completed 19 years of distinguished service in Her Majesty's Royal Navy as an Aeronautical Engineer Officer.

Con la conclusione del censimento del patrimonio informativo della PA e l’avvio del processo di qualificazione dei Poli Strategici Nazionali (PSN) e dei Cloud Service Provider (CSP), il piano di razionalizzazione delle risorse ICT della PA entra nella sua fase cruciale. Questi passaggi rappresentano non solo un passo fondamentale verso la razionalizzazione delle infrastrutture fisiche pubbliche dal punto di vista strutturale ed economico, ma anche un’opportunità per sviluppare nuovi approcci sui modelli di organizzazione e di erogazione dei servizi, quali driver di sviluppo dell’economia.
