In the past 8 years has held the following positions: From 2012 to 2017 Telecom Italia - Chief Procurement Officer. From 2013 to 2018 Telenergia (Telecom Italia group subsidiary) – CEO In 2018 joined Huawei as Vice President for Business Development of WEU.
Is married and his family has always been based in Naples, Italy, leaving him free to work everywhere keeping the link with his home town. Tailoring and literature are favorite pass times. “Challenge is his life”. His friend said about him “you are the guy who invented the eighth day, to design the future”.

Città resilienti

Le città sono l’istituzione di governo più vicina ai cittadini e alle imprese e per questo, che le governa, si trova ad affrontare direttamente sfide sempre più complesse: domande sociali ed economiche, cambiamenti climatici, ed, evidentemente, emergenze sanitarie.

È importante che si diffonda la cultura e la prassi della città resiliente intesa come un modello di governo in grado di gestire risposte sociali, economiche e strutturali per permettere al territorio di sopravvivere, adattandosi alle sfide e alle minacce che provengono dall’ambiente esterno. Un modello improntato alla flessibilità e fondato sulla prevenzione, la formazione e la conoscenza. Al contrario, è difficile parlare di smart cities e di smart communities se non si creano le condizioni per rendere meno vulnerabili e più sicuri i nostri centri urbani, se singole azioni e interventi non sono coerenti con un modello di intervento condiviso che consideri le città nella loro complessità e nelle diverse dimensioni infrastrutturali, sociali ed economiche.

L’incontro vuole approfondire le diverse dimensioni che rendono una città resiliente: l’infrastruttura tecnologica, il valore della comunità, la Governance dei dati e delle informazioni.
